My thoughts, scattered. Let’s be friends. August 4, 2015. Didn’t I say I was going to blog more? Except now I have two babies to deal with, and either Penny isn’t napping so I can’t use that time (she’s napping now HALLELUJAH) or I’m dealing with Thomas (lots of cuddles) or it’s nighttime and everyone is asleep and, well, I’d rather just read or take a bath. Wow, longest run-on sentence ever. 8230;excited for Penny to start school. 8230;amazed by my kid. 8230;prepping for the 21 Day Fix. Have you done it?

Creative Collective #1 - My Word of 2014. Finding ways to be more creative is always a good thing and something I'm always trying to do. So when I read about Melyssa's Creative Collective idea over at The Nectar Collective. I couldn't wait to get started. Our first assignment from Melyssa was to think about the year ahead:. Think of a word that you want to focus on in 2014. It took a while to narrow it down to just one word, but I kept coming back to the same one - Growth. If I get my fitness back I'll g...

http://sturzinger.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Just a little blog to keep our family in touch with our lives. Friday, October 22, 2010. I had my 20 week ultrasound today, and we got some pretty good pictures. We don't know the sex yet, it's in a sealed envelope to be opened when Eric and I are together in November. Here are the pictures from today. My friend's daughter Emily. These last three are from the party in Hawaii. Of him going after his cupcake. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Lazy H Climbing Club. There's a Pickle in my life.
Our Crazy Life: December 2012
http://sturzinger.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Just a little blog to keep our family in touch with our lives. Tuesday, December 11, 2012. Our First German Christmas Market. Early last week, we found out about a trip to a local Christmas Market that Eric's unit was taking. We don't have a car right now, so any opportunity to get out of our hotel we jump on. The forecast was for cold, with a high of 20 F, so we bundled up the kids and headed for the bus. Lauren all dressed up and ready to go. Okay, so he doesn't have his mittens on in this picture,.

Just a little blog to keep our family in touch with our lives. Tuesday, January 22, 2013. A few days after Christmas, we decided to make the rest of the french toast. After we were done eating, and everything was cooled off, Dominic decided he wanted to make some too. Getting caught by Daddy. Serving up the french toast. Marcus showing off his Beaver hat. Getting excited for the game. She loves sticking out her tongue! This is what our backyard looks like now. Sunday, January 20, 2013. Dominic checking o...

Just a little blog to keep our family in touch with our lives. Thursday, February 24, 2011. Catching Up - December Part 2. He even got a chance to go boogie boarding. While we were at Bellows he figured out how to walk and he became unstoppable. He wanted to walk everywhere and he wanted to do it all on his own. He has since learned to hold hands when he's in parking lots and crossing streets, thank goodness! Good thing Uncle Bill was there to keep him out of the ocean! Just a warning, this video is abou...

Bull; 18 Comments. One month of summer down, one(ish) month to go. We can do this! Thankfully, July month went by fairly quickly, and I’m certain August will fly by. I have a lot of things on my plate for this month: Julia starts preschool (or, like, pre-pre-preschool), MOPS starts up again (YAY! And I’ll start gearing up for our road-trip back home. Yup, we’re hitting the road come September and going back to New Mexico for a couple of months. I have. I’m Currently…. 8230;totally blown away. Ladies, che...

http://jessicalynnwrites.com/2015/07/diaco-reveal-box-2
Bull; 14 Comments. Dia&Co Reveal (Box 2). Box arrived earlier this week, and I was just as giddy to open it as I was the first time around. Seriously, “going” shopping without leaving my house is probably my new favorite thing. A little info about Dia&Co: If you’ve heard of StitchFix, they’re similar, but Dia&Co. So back to this month’s Dia&Co. Okay, almost a year) that I wore actual non-maternity jeans. Like, they zipped all the way up. Here’s my second Dia&Co reveal:. I LOVE this shirt. It’s ...Uuum no...

Just a little blog to keep our family in touch with our lives. Saturday, May 7, 2011. Marcus' first homegrown haircut. I gave Marcus a haircut on Thursday. It was my first attempt. It ended up a lot shorter than I expected, but other than that it looks pretty good. It makes his eyes look much bigger for sure. There's also no doubting whose kid he is. Dominic at 2 months. A picture of Marcus at 2 months to compare. What a great Easter we had! They have a program here on our post where single soldiers come...
Our Crazy Life: Christmas
http://sturzinger.blogspot.com/2014/03/christmas.html
Just a little blog to keep our family in touch with our lives. Sunday, March 9, 2014. The initial finding of presents. Dominic still isn't quite sure what's happening. Once he figured out some of it was for him, he was quick to dig in. Checking out what Santa left. She was pretty excited to have her own stocking. Marcus loves Kinder Eggs and this was the biggest one he had ever seen. They make them twice the size for Christmas and Easter). She seems pretty excited to have one too. Marcus riding his bike.

Just a little blog to keep our family in touch with our lives. Wednesday, November 28, 2012. Okay, so I'm more than extremely behind on posts, but for those of you that still follow us, I thought I'd go back to the birth of our daughter, Lauren Jean. Scattered Scott
Tuesday, May 15, 2012. Hen pecked as second in a twosome, Peck is now a hyperbolic tyrant with a serfdom of three more for a total of four. Posted by scott jordan. Tuesday, May 15, 2012. Links to this post. ADHD whispers to chickens. Raising your voice with chickens just scares them. Supposedly, once we reintroduced her to the community she'd be the new chicken and would not be in a position to assault the others; I guess the wisdom is that chickens realign the pecking order when that order is disrupted ...
we are the scattered scotts
We are the scattered scotts. Sunday, October 4, 2009. For those of you that are interested in genealogy, I found something fun and interesting this week. Grandpa Scott's grandmother was Lydia Mary Honeysett who was born in England. In the 1851 census, Lydia's father James, along with his parents James and Harriet, is listed as living at Bray's Hill, Ashburnham, Sussex. These pictures are from the surrounding countryside near Ashburnham. Wednesday, June 10, 2009. More of Memorial Day Breakfast. In Ansouis...
Scattered Scrap
A rare not-so-quiet minute or two in the scattered mind of a scrapper, a mother, a wifey, a photographer wannabe, a typist, a shopper, a spender, a day-dreamer, a wisher, a lazybum, a stand up newbie, a karaoke wannabe, a flea marketer, a tea cup collector, proudly tattooed, prettily pierced and definitely a scatterbrain! Friday, 4 November 2011. And their creative team and this month it was my turn to set the challenge for November. I chose:. Paint - but wait! I'm off again but I'll be back hopefully so...
Scattered Scraps and Snippets
Scattered Scraps and Snippets. Wednesday, May 26, 2010. Garland Guild Quilt Retreat 2010. I went on a wonderful retreat last weekend with my local guild. I didn't have a camera with me to record all the shenanigan's but here are pictures of what I got done while I was there. I'd taken some fabrics with me for the borders and decided I didn't like them. Still need to decide on border fabrics. I also took another really old set of blocks and put them together into this. Ditto on the border problem. Monday,...
