Shit Job Tales: Not Quite Binary Code
http://shitjobtales.blogspot.com/2012/01/not-quite-binary-code.html
Cause you gotta start somewhere. Not Quite Binary Code. One of my classes is called Introduction to Computer Architecture. Don’t ask me to tell you what it’s about, because I haven’t learned that part yet. I’m told we’re getting there. To compare, English is a high-level language. It was a failure, in my case...

Shit Job Tales: Java Programming, as taught by an Army drill sergeant.
http://shitjobtales.blogspot.com/2012/01/java-programming-as-taught-by-army.html
Cause you gotta start somewhere. Java Programming, as taught by an Army drill sergeant. A bit harsh, but on the other hand, many teachers allow students to derail them with inane questions, which slows the class down considerably. This class is very fast paced, and you have no choice but to keep up. It's very tough but you learn very fast. A man who is this sure of himself had better be right all the time. So far, he is. http://drbobk.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 27, 2010. Peter Gabriel's Scratch My Back. Music is pretty important to me. I have it on most of the time and I listen pretty intently quite often. Every once in a while an album comes along that just stops me in my tracks. The latest one to do that – and the first one in a while – is Peter Gabriel’s gorgeous Scratch My Back. Is a covers album but it is unlike any other covers album I’ve ever come across. Was “no cymbals.”. The rule for Scratch My Back. Elbow’s “MirrorballR...Gabriel&#...

Sunday, December 19, 2010. Favorite albums of the year. I’ve not updated this blog very much this year – my job has kept me especially busy lately. But I have been listening to a lot of music (I still have my 45 min commute) and, as I have done for the past few years, I have compiled a list of my favorite music for the year. So here they are, in no particular order - the albums that especially got me excited this year. Robert Plant / Band of Joy. 8211; This album surprised me. I listened to Raising Sand.

Bob's bloggery: June 2010
http://drbobk.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 11, 2010. Recently on a friend’s facebook wall I engaged in a discussion about the lyrics to a song for worship. I argued that we need to choose songs well – that with the thousands of worship songs available we can only use a few and it is good for us to choose ones that work well and avoid the ones with questionable lyrics. With that in mind when a song from Michael W. Smith’s recent worship album, A New Hallelujah. When I think of you, I see you dancing,. Yahweh, Hallelujah, we sing.
