Corner Entry: DC Auto Show
http://cornerentry.blogspot.com/2010/01/dc-auto-show.html
Friday, January 29, 2010. This year was special, though. The Washington DC Region SCCA. Sent out a request for "non-econobox" cars to feature at their motorsports display. Thinking that few cars are farther from "econobox" than a Camaro I offered up my car and they accepted. So, last weekend I cleaned the car, put it on the trailer and down to DC I went. And Mid-Atlantic Hotrods, who have just signed on with me for another year! Last night I made it down to the show. Cruze, and Volt. Audi also had the co...

Corner Entry: 2009 season is toast.
http://cornerentry.blogspot.com/2009/11/2009-season-is-toast.html
Monday, November 2, 2009. 2009 season is toast. OK, so I haven't blogged as much as I'd hoped, but things happen. The 2009 season is a wrap for me, and for most local autocrossing in general. First of all, I'd like to say that, once again, WDCR-SCCA has done a great job putting on their series. It's to the point now where it's easy to take for granted all the things they do well, but as a member of a different club that hosts events, I'm constantly reminded of how difficult it can be. Great job! Lifelong...

Corner Entry: German cars.
http://cornerentry.blogspot.com/2010/01/german-cars.html
Saturday, January 2, 2010. Everything was fine. I liked American cars. Visions of CTS-Vs filled my dreams, I lamented that if I could just get a G8 GT with a manual I'd be in sedan heaven, and I thought a new Camaro SS would just be the best toy to find under the tree this Christmas. I still like American cars. I still think all the vehicles I just listed are swell indeed, but my wife. Just sent my life careening down a path that is really nothing new to me. We went to buy a BMW. And traded my cole slaw ...

holunfie: October 2009
http://holunfie.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 31, 2009. Nothing's better than reconnecting with a car that has a lot of sentimental value. i had the pleasure of driving my old civic in its full b16 glory! Rad was ultra kind to let me drive it all day while he was tire warming for steguis. Chris shenefield set him up with some suspension magic, the quaife works wonders, and how sweet it was to turn the wheel again. Thanks a million rad! And congrats on the class championship steg! holunfie: June 2009
http://holunfie.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 24, 2009. So it's been awhile since I posted anything worth a damn to this blog. It's a bit rough with 2 little hombres and a busy j-o-b. Most of my extra time has been spent on the concrete under the evo or out doing some logging. Good news is I have some video from the Finger Lakes Tour and DC Pro. Both awesome events. Very happy with my results and couldn't be happier with the way this thing drives. For now here's my DC video, I'll have finger lakes and some more soon. Slow in, fast out.

holunfie: July 2009
http://holunfie.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 21, 2009. Fuel Strategy, Strata and Pb. I get the tank nice and low in the evo and add a 5 gallon drum of the C16. Did some driving to mix the fuel. First set of logs results in very similar AFR's to pump gas. Second set of logs is a bit richer and the car stinks a bit more. By the 3rd logging session this car reeks. To the point I'm almost dizzy. The AFR's are also very rich. Pretty sure we're into the C16 now. I hate to say it but the lawn didn't get cut any faster. A = Pump Gas Octane.
