http://sub-2.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 11, 2010. THANK YOU to everyone that's been following and posting comments. And of course my amazing wife for her support. I have enjoyed every minute of this experience and never felt like I was alone here in Budapest. To represent the U.S.A. on September 11th (or anytme) and have people come to me from other countries like the UK and Brazil and mention that they were thinking about it, was an unbelievable experience. Wow what an experience! So here are the results. E course a few da...

Sub2: Ramping up and Cramping up! - weeks 9-10
http://sub-2.blogspot.com/2011/05/ramping-up-and-cramping-up-weeks-9-10.html
Monday, May 9, 2011. Ramping up and Cramping up! I'd like to think everything is about me, and frankly it is, but that makes for one boring blog. So, I feel it necessary to mention a few people that are merely close to the center of the universe. First the youngest of my SCE. Teammates, Andrew Walgren finished 4th overall at the Marine Discovery Run 5K on Mother's day. He's 13 years old and ran an 18:55. Definitely can haz some serious potential. The previous week was brutal with a low 25 miles running, ...

Sub2: 19 and under... Week-5
http://sub-2.blogspot.com/2011/04/19-and-under-week-5.html
Tuesday, April 5, 2011. 19 and under. Week-5. Daddy got a new pair o' shoes! And then Friday morning rolled around. I was. Tired and worn out from the previous Sundays 14 miler and two subsequent 5-6 milers. As I set out for what was supposed to be an easy morning in my new Zoot tri shoes. More hill repeats, and mile 3 ended up being at 5:50. Three days to go before the surgery. I was really hoping to do the Mother's Day Run for Fun. Some other great upcoming races are:. The Marine Discovery Run. Is also...

Monday, August 24, 2009. Saturday - Race Day. I woke up feeling good physically. Slept well. Ate breakfast and took off for the transition area about 5:45. The temperature was 72 at 6am when I arrived. The transition area. Was surprisingly well laid out and I felt there was plenty of room. For everyone. Everyone from USAT and the event was extremely pleasant. And helpful, save a couple of girls working the main entrance at the. Transition. They were just downright pissy to people and seems a little.

Sunday, January 30, 2011. The Long Road, Kicking off the season! Better, Stronger, Faster, . And Older. In my own little world, in which I fully rule in every way, my season officially starts on Monday. Not sure what that means exactly but I have some events lined up and need to start my fat ass a trainin' on Monday. Fer reals. In this my 3rd season of Holy Triathlon Wonderment, I'm focusing a solid run and swim base and will gradually add the bike in over the next 3 months. No coach Marty. It ended up b...

Sub2: The Unweek- Week-2
http://sub-2.blogspot.com/2011/03/unweek-week-2.html
Sunday, March 13, 2011. Thursday I managed to work for a few hours which included a trip to the Holy Land (Apple Inc. in Cupertino), which pretty much wore me out. But Friday I managed to eek out a painful 2 miles with Tori and Pauline from work. Combine that with Today's solid 8 at a good pace and I managed 10 miles. Better than nothing. So 10 miles on the run this week, no swim, no bike, no wine no women, I think I'm turning Japanese. Let's hope week 3 is a good one because WildFlower is looming. It's ...

http://sub-2.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 9, 2010. Ok it's been a long time since I've posted. 2010 has been a crazy, yet fairly successful season so far, even with some serious setbacks. Accomplishments this year include qualifying for Team USA and a trip to the world championships in Budapest in September, an overall win in my favorite tri in Wisconsin, an Age group win at the Vineman, a 3rd overall finish in Moraga, and a 9th over all finish at Treasure Island. Hope to see you all out there. Posted by Steve Yatson. Bike:Willer ...

Sub2: Gummy-worm-eye-brows! Weeks-7-8
http://sub-2.blogspot.com/2011/04/gummy-worm-eye-brows-weeks-7-8.html
Monday, April 25, 2011. The big disappointment is the weight gain. I'd lost 17 pounds since January 1st (my goal was 12) and it took a fair amount of effort and discipline. In that two weeks I gained back a solid 3 lbs. And that ain't cool! A lot of it was the lack of calorie burn but a good part of it was the Easter candy and chocolate. Put those two things together and it's the Reese's Peanut Butter cup of weight gain! By the way, here's the worlds ugliest Easter related item:. Again this year. Eve...
