Adventures of a young American in the Deep South. Monday, July 13, 2015. Sarah decided to treat us to her excellent sushi recently. We always thought that it was pretty exotic and never really thought it was something you could do at home. Sarah proved us wrong. We had several plates with some tuna, salmon and krab. Adventures of a young American in the Deep South. Friday, August 7, 2015. July means it's time for Sarah and Suzanna's back-to-back birthdays. This year was a big one for Sarah. She turned the big 2-1. Being a chip off the block, she decided she wanted pie instead of cake. On the left we have a wonderful chess pie and on the right a chocolate cake. They were both delicious, but since the rest of the family doesn't have as refined tastes as me and Sarah, we pretty much had the chess pie to ourselves.
