http://expatinrussia.blogspot.com/2015/08/the-apple-story.html
Meanwhile in Russia . Sunday, 16 August 2015. Apples are just one of the most common harvest in dacha. Most of these apples are as old as 40 years when dachas were just built. How nice to have fruit growing in such abundance, with almost no attention at all. but it is a shame to see it go to waste! You make ...

http://expatinrussia.blogspot.com/2015/08/dachas-resthouses.html
Meanwhile in Russia . Tuesday, 11 August 2015. Dacha means a house where you take a rest in summer. They're not cottages, they're much simplier. This wonderful garden has the most beautiful peacocks that I have ever seen. There are many kinds of species and I find all of them amazing in its own way. There are dozens of peacocks roaming freely in a large enclosure and they make unusual noises when they start squawking. Links to this post. Links to this post.

A Quiet Corner: Childhood Memories

Formerly "Home in the Hollow". This is the house I grew up in, located right on Main Street. It was white when I lived in it. I lived here until I was seventeen and had graduated High School. We used to go here for ice cream sodas! I was surprised, yet comforted, to know that it still exists! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). DAY 240 ...
