Life with the Lynchs. Virginia - Part 1. Sunday night: We started our trip with a red eye flight with a layover in Atlanta for 3 hours. Doug wondered why we were doing this? It was the only "cheap" option for us. :) We were excited but ready to sleep after an hour. Lucky Doug! He sat beside a man who was excited to meet his son who is in the marines (enjoyed talking) and in front of 2 little kids and their mom who did not care that they talked all night with the light on! But they were soon big buds!

Sunday, May 17, 2009. New Hope Clinic - N'zao, Guinea. Oh beautiful, wild AFRICA! In March Heath and I had the amazing opportunity to serve in Africa for 17 days. The experience is hard to put into words and I am afraid the pictures won't do it justice either. Regardless we wanted to share a little of our trip. Hope you enjoy! We took a little plane from Conakre. It felt like we were landing in the jungle! Then all the sudden. Right before we landed a little dirt runway appeared! This was the airport.

Sunday, September 28, 2008. I knew it had been a while since I had posted, but THREE MONTHS! Since my last post we have moved. I have been really busy fixing this place up and still have a lot to do so I may not post again anytime soon. I also still have apples and pears to can. The children love being in the country. Saturday, June 28, 2008. And Then They Were Five. We have now been home for one week! I have removed the password from our adoption journal. Now I feel like since we are now Lexi's legal parents and we are safely back in the US that there is not really a need for the password. Afternoons not so much! I mean it's summer and she has to go back to school way too soon anyhow! The whole, no more sleeping in again, has me in a tizzy and I want to defend my daughters rights to sleep in too! Rae's interest include horses, (actually pretty much any kind of animal but especially horses) swimming, reading, movies and hanging out with friends. Her and Shane spend more time watching documentary's than anything else. The biggest argument is whether it will be an animal doc. or a scientific doc.
