Thursday, February 07, 2008. A Sneak Peek at our new addition! It's far from being new. And it's definitely not a baby. It's our 1950 Ford Custom! We didn't get any pictures before all of this snow. So you'll have to use your imagination. Yes, it's faded maroon which looks exactly like purple, but that's just for the time being. One day it will be a better color. Tuesday, September 23, 2008. How about that - a post from an event that happened less. Than 3 days ago! Ben got 2nd place in the 4 year olds division. With a time of 2 minutes and 4 seconds. He had to go around the track once - a quarter mile. Simon got 3rd in the 6 year olds division with a time of 4 minutes and 7 seconds. He had to go around the track twice - half a mile. And his crazy mother didn't insist on shoes so his flip-flops kept falling off. My winning boys - they were so proud! Gotta Get Me S...

Friday, November 07, 2008. Buzz, Jack and a green frog. One week later. Not bad! Talon was the frog that Ben was 2 years ago. Gotta love a costume that was $1.97 and 2 kids WANTED to wear it! Bennett was Captain Jack Sparrow.and he LOVED every minute of it! Simon was Buzz Lightyear. His wings even had lights. I tried to get a picture of it but they flashed.so it was nearly impossible. Ben, my non-picture taking boy, insisted on this one. I couldn't believe it! Me and my love - thank you Simon! 5 in a Row.

Monday, September 29, 2008. It's Not All Baby Rides Anymore! Yesterday, we went to a carnival in Dyer. We had so much fun! Ben and Simon are now tall enough to go on some of the bigger rides. Look how excited Ben is. He thought he wasn't tall enough and he was so sad.then he found out he actually WAS tall enough and jumped into his seat - right next to Mom! I was pretty queasy after that. Thursday, December 20, 2007. Look what I made. I didn't actually make the stocking but I did stitch the names. They turned out so cute, if I do say so myself! And it was totally therapeutic. To do it. I enjoyed it so much I think I'm going to make bags for my mom to use for our stockings next year. Every year she says she isn't going to do much but every year we have our stocking and a bag next to it filled with stuff that she lovingly chose and wrapped! I love you Mommy!
