December 18, 2009. Kids Say the Darndest Things. So, I found a new method of discipline that gets the kids to behave for awhile. When they get completely out of control, I assign them an essay. TWO of the best things I ever convinced Abe to do was to first, buy me the Adobe Creative Suite, which includes Photoshop, InDesign, Flash, Illustrator, etc. and second, to send me to a training here or there, and buy me the books to go along with the programs. So, when I have downtime in between projects, I start playing on Photoshop, learning the different techniques and elements. I made it myself! Quote of the Day.

June 30, 2009. So, the other night, I was watching the news with my mom. They were discussing California's budget and they were showing this man who was protesting a proposed budget cut. The budget cut would be cutting funds for individuals with HIV/Aids. This man was protesting, saying that because of the economy, he just can't afford his medicine on his own. Without this funding, he has to look at whether to pay for his rent and utilities, or for his medication. And guess what wins? June 04, 2009.
