The 5th and 6th graders spent some time decorating their classroom doors for Red Ribbon Week. Each class chose a theme and then decorated accordingly. The doors were judged and the 6th graders' door won 1st place! The 5th graders came up with the theme "U-N-I Can Go Hand in Hand to Make a Stand Against Drugs!

On Thursday the 5 and 6th grade students will be taking a trip to Springbrook state park. Springbrook is near Guthrie Center, IA. There will be very fun activities for the kids! The kids will be sleeping in cabins over night. Then the kids will get up Friday and eat breakfast, then off to more fun activities. Tuesday, September 23, 2014.

Several activities took place in our science classroom this morning. The kids had a blast playing catch and passing around an inflatable globe.
