Tuned in, dropped out - A Slave to Variance. PokerStove: A Poker Calculator. Tuned in, dropped out. Nov 5th, 2014 09:49 pm. So, I changed my password on Facebook to some gibberish. That means that in order to log in again, I'll need to do some gymnastics. I'm sure I'll log in again, but for now it's been too much of a distraction to be considered productive. I finally went to en.wikipedia.org, where the summary was quick and clear, and the links to the results were obvious and informative.

Chris Christie - clutch_c

Chris Christie - clutch c. I'm SHOCKED to discover that Chris Christie is a vindictive, bullying egomaniac. Who would have ever guessed it? FTA: "the new tranche of emails that show how he and his staff". Cite please for where Christie is personally shown to be involved. I get the whole "it's his staff, buck stops there". And I'm not so naive as to think his staff went completely off the reservation, and he's that he's never engaged in political bloodsport.

Online; gardening; o&a. This should be a very good year for the GOP. The Benghazi scandal is flaring up again, with out-and-out-lying by the White House:. Or as Jonathan Karl put it on Twitter. PressSec says @rhodes44 email not released bc "explicitly not about Benghazi." It has section entitled "Benghazi". Sorry to disappoint y...

You Know You Wanna. Mon, Aug. 30th, 2010, 07:11 pm. Cabbie fought the law and the law? Is awesome. He has an epic nine (fairly long) post series on getting and fighting a ticket in Vegas. You lawyers to be might want to read it. Avoid accidental spoilers by using the direct links below. Start at Part I. Tue, Aug. 31st, 2010 01:25 am (UTC). I will never understand why some people use white type on a dark background. Literally makes the site unreadable for me and for quite a few other people I know.

political platform - Poker, politics, philosophy

Poker, politics, philosophy. It's that time of year. Here's a political platform that guarantees that nobody would ever vote for you. but would make a much bigger difference than either party's, by a mile. That's a big re-integration task.) Anyway by now it's clear that drug prohibition has been even more disastrous than alcohol prohibition was. As a side effect, allow drugs on the market (appropriately labeled) without FDA approval. Perhaps implemented via a negative income tax. Those agencies reduce jo...

a confident campaign - Poker, politics, philosophy
http://dmorr.livejournal.com/206876.html
Poker, politics, philosophy. There's a lot of lj interest in predicting the election results - that's all I see on my friends list right now - so this is probably of interest to lots of you. The Obama campaign is very confident of a win. I mean, duh, of course they would say that to a reporter. Crazy not to. But there's a ton of interesting detail in the content. Lots of interviews with unnamed campaign staffers follow. 24th-Oct-2012 05:18 pm (UTC). Aren't accurately measuring who is voting.

This just in. - clutch c. Phil Hellmuth all-in hand in $3K 6-handed NL:. The 7 pairs and Hellmuth is out in 8th for a $45K payout. His comment as he's leaving: "Eight flips in a row I've lost.". Math is hard. A7 is about a 5-3 favorite over A2. He did not say the coin was fair did he? Phil plays perfect poker. Do not question him.

And then he woke up. It had all been a dream. - clutch c. And then he woke up. It had all been a dream. In a recent comment exchange on EVWhore's LJ. There was some discussion of The Mist, a movie with a particularly stupid ending. That got me thinking of other movies with blown endings. Here are a few that I came up with:. Smilla's Sense of Snow (b). The Happening (or, really, any film directed by M. Night Shyamalan) (e). B Aliens under the ice. What? Good one. Another variation on the "it was all a...
