Sunday, September 12, 2010. So I took a little blog vacation and now I'm back! It was a great summer and I am ready for the temperature to start dropping. Hubby and I took a couple trips- one back to see the family in Illinois and our friends Matt, Melissa and Kennedy. (Who by the way just gave birth to a bouncing baby boy named Cameron! Saturday, January 30, 2010. The fence is finished! I left for work on Tuesday morning and this is what the backyard looked like:. I came home on Tuesday afternoon and this is what it looked like:. And by Wednesday, the fence was finished! Its great and much more private than the chain link! They fixed the portion of the wall that was damaged and added a layer to the existing wall. Very nice:. Now we need our gates put up! Nick was nice enough to bring them down:. And then we'll need a little landscaping.

Sunday, May 23, 2010. On occasion I am able to drag my husband to the movie theater. He is not a big fan of the theater and sees no big difference in watching a movie at home vs. watching a movie at the theater. I like the "theater experience". The popcorn. Yesterday, we decided to grab some lunch and then go to a matinee. For lunch we went to this great. Burger place called Delux. I highly recommend a visit, but beware, the burgers are BIG and we both brought 1/2 of ours home. AND He actually liked it!

Kennedy had her tonsils and adenoids removed about 3 weeks ago. It was an awful ordeal for her (and for Mom and Dad), but she is finally recovered and back to her old self.
