Fish for Breakfast: August 2014
http://fishforbreakfast.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 13, 2014. I set myself the goal of catching up, and catch up I will! Anyway, all this is to say that spring lingered, summer started mild, and we had some good times outside. Incidentally, those are Jacob's first shoes in the pictures above. Aren't they super-cute? A girl's gotta have priorities, right? Retro pictures for everyone:. You wanted an update on the roses I planted outside our bedroom window (my first Mother's Day present)? And then Natalie and I went on a date! We went to he...

Thursday, May 15, 2014. Mother's Day, May 11. Today was a nice day. I woke up to Rob baking cherry chocolate scones. Mmmmm. After church (we had 20 2 year olds! We went to Costco- my choice! In the van, Ky said "Mom, you will always be 21 to me." "But Ky, you didn't know me when I was 21." "I know, but you always seem 21 to me." Flattery will get you everywhere my boy! Fish for Breakfast: Family News!
http://fishforbreakfast.blogspot.com/2014/04/family-news.html
Thursday, April 24, 2014. Two big events in the month of April: Jacob started walking and Mike got tenure. We'll leave you to decide the relative long-term importance of each. We are very happy. No video of the tenure (although there is a letter, complete with signatures in purple ink, natch), but here's Jacob walking. You'll, uh, want to turn down the volume on this one, as Natalie is yowling in the background about some not-entirely-urgent injury. Here are the champions themselves:. To compensate for m...

Fish for Breakfast: March 2014
http://fishforbreakfast.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 12, 2014. We've been attending a lot of birthday parties the last month or so. I have pictures from those and from, well, just living our lives. Here's Natalie at a party at a roller skating rink. The kids could roller skate, but they were also welcome to bring and ride anything with wheels. Jacob also got invited to a birthday party - his first invitation! It was for a girl in his class, and it was Mickey Mouse-themed. Mickey was, um, not a big hit. To put it mildly. Oh, you know: milk!

Schnake Updates: Friday, May 9
http://schnake-wi.blogspot.com/2014/05/friday-may-9.html
Friday, May 09, 2014. Friday, May 9. I am thankful for having the opportunity to help out and visit a friend this morning. I am thankful for the garage sale that had a pair of pants for Kylan for $2! I am thankful that the school year is ending. The schedules and expectations have gone downhill with the kids and we need to start fresh. I am trying to rescue our old processes, but they continue to sink, sink, sink into the pit of despair. One more month! So teach us to number our days that we may get a he...
