Taste and See: Naughty or nice......

ABC's with the Schoney's: Adoption after Breast Cancer! Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. Psalms 34:8. Thursday, December 19, 2013. George Winston's beautiful music was playing in the background, and I was working on yet another to-do list. Christmas time truly is the most wonderful time of the year, but my word, it's exhausting for mamas. (or is that just me? Tell me it's not just me.). It sounds JUST like you! When did you record this? God in my life.

Merry Christmas, from our family to yours! It's been a busy year for us! We were still reveling in the fact that we had just been able to adopt Andy. At the end of the December 2011. It was a month of adjustment and time spent together. And we celebrated with lots of fun and a massive Cars 2 cake made by mom. We went to Illinois t...

ABC's with the Schoney's: Adoption after Breast Cancer! Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. Psalms 34:8. Wednesday, March 13, 2013. God still does miracles! Awhile ago, I met with my surgeon for a regular follow up visit, and while there, discussed the possibility of trying one more time to get pregnant. Before cancer, we had tried for quite awhile. Don't get me wrong. I meant every word I said about adoption being Plan A. So, Dave and I did what we have done ...

ABC's with the Schoney's: Adoption after Breast Cancer! Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. Psalms 34:8. Wednesday, July 21, 2010. I might actually miss radiation. Let me me explain. At our wedding, one of my most treasured memories (aside from the whole pledging our lives to each other thing), was my dad and his brothers singing our benediction, "The Lord Bless You and Keep You.". Here are the lyrics:. I come to the garden alone. The son of God discloses.

ABC's with the Schoney's: Adoption after Breast Cancer! Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. Psalms 34:8. Wednesday, January 8, 2014. 4 years and counting! Blessed doesn't begin to describe how I feel right now. It's been 4 years and 2 days since I was diagnosed with breast cancer. In the rocks and hard places. At the end of my battle, we had a party. As followups continued, I had some scares. But sometimes, God just makes it so easy. I never thought I would ex...

ABC's with the Schoney's: Adoption after Breast Cancer! Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. Psalms 34:8. Saturday, November 17, 2012. The week I thought Cancer was back. This past week, I went in for my regular mammogram. I was actually feeling pretty calm - I mean, it's been close to 3 years now since The Bad News. And in that moment, I knew that, once again, I had the choice to trust God or deny His power and sovereignty. I once again found comfort in th...

ABC's with the Schoney's: Adoption after Breast Cancer! Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. Psalms 34:8. Tuesday, January 6, 2015. It's been 5 YEARS! Dave came home from work and handed me a card and chocolates. I was confused, until I opened it up and read the card. He'd remembered that it had been FIVE YEARS since I was diagnosed with cancer. I watched the days go by in 2010 and counted down. Till I was done that year. 8 rounds of chemo. 33 days of radiation.

Welcome to the SchoneyPhoto.com blog! Visit the website: SchoneyPhoto.com. Thursday, March 3, 2011. Getting back to blogging. I started this photography blog awhile ago, but let it slide when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Out of that came our family blog, Taste and See. And I've really enjoyed blogging over there about our journey through my cancer, our pursuit of adoption. Eating healthy, and all the little mundane things that make life what it is. So, welcome to the blog! View my complete profile.
