Our ALFTECH Digital Programmable Timer was designed to meet the needs for an easy programmable school bell timer, to activate sirens on factory floors to alert shift changes or breaks, or any similar application where an external device needs to be triggered at a specific time on a daily or weekly schedule. 120 timers per day. 7 day week clock. Clock accurate to 2 minutes / year (battery backed). Powered and Programmed via USB (or powered USB hub).

ALFTECH started developing the DPT range of school bell timers in 2000. We have found industrial timers as commonly used for the above applications too complicated and time consuming to program for non-technical users, and have designed our software to be as easy as possible to use for occasional and non-technical users. The DPT-EN1 was launched in 2001. Communications to the PC was with RS-232. This was an under-desk timer powered by the AC supply. The DPT-EN2 was launched in 2004.
