Today was a blocking rehearsal. We actually got through a big chunk of the show- GO US! A chorus of " awwwww" and "DENIED! Echoed throughout the rehearsal room. I thought I was being courteous! Will be presenting Rogers and Hammerstein's The Sound of Music. July 5-22. The musical is based on the memoir of Maria von Trapp, The Story of the Trapp Family Singers. It tells the story of a young nun who leaves her life at the convent to become a governess to the 7 children of an ex- naval captain. If you have never seen the show, you are in for a real treat!
