Self-Publishing Journeys: Jo-Anne Mason. Self-Publishing Journeys: Jo-Anne Mason. So the decision to go the self-publishing route was easy. The hard part was finding a good printer, deciding how many books to print, figuring out how to store them and ship them, and finding outlets around the islands to sell them. These are not easy problems to solve. Money is always an issue. How much can you afford to spend to get the right amount of books? Can I justify doing another? What else can I do etc. etc...
