Making lunch more fun. Elvis Week: Love Me Tender. August 14, 2011. Love me true …. This morning I fed the kids English muffins (or England muffins, as Jenna tells it) for breakfast and, to my surprise, all four LOVED them. And I mean that in all caps: they wouldn’t shut up about how good they were (for the record, they were toasted and had strawberry jam on top). I thought these were tres adorable! Love their lunches. I enjoyed making them and, of course, I love those little people like crazy. You are c...

Making lunch more fun. Let’s face it: some bentos are cuter than others! Here are a list of my personal favorites as well as some of my favorites from around the web:. My first almost-a-bento was Ritz crackers and star-shaped cheddar cheese, broccoli, carrots, black seedless grapes, a gummy worm kiss/heart and animal cracker style cookies that spell out her name. Show & Share Friday | dayliciously bento
https://dayliciouslybento.wordpress.com/2011/09/09/show-share-friday
Making lunch more fun. Show and Share Friday. September 9, 2011. We FINALLY made it to Friday! I thought it’d never come again. I didn’t plan our meals this week and I’ve felt SO disorganized; for us, it definitely helps to have a plan. A little extra time on the front end saves A LOT of time on the backend. I haven’t checked their containers yet but going off of what they said, broccoli came back from almost everyone and Jenna also didn’t eat her ham (“I don’t LIKE ham! Two things I DO NOT LIKE! https://dayliciouslybento.wordpress.com/2011/09/08/mama-loves-you
Making lunch more fun. September 8, 2011. It’s been a ‘clean the pantry’ type of week again, and we’re coming off of a long holiday weekend that’s thrown our routine off-kilter, so I haven’t been shooting photos like I usually do. Monday was a bye, if you will, due to the holiday. Tuesday I wanted to do something quick and simple, so my younger three took ramen noodles, carrots and a cookie while Jaiden took her kids’ choice meal (that I forgot about last week! Making lunch more fun. Kids’ Choice: PB&J and fishies. September 1, 2011. Two points for the marketing geniuses because now at least another one of my children is willing to try sandwich thins. We added a candy eyeball to eat little fishy, then I cut the cheese into short little octopi, cut carrots into some sort of seaweed, added marshmallow bubbles and then the apples were just going to be. I bought food safe markers at Walmart the other day (also: scored these on the clearance aisle! For the record, I...
