Tuesday, June 30. FYI Austin gets home July 14th. Wow This was a memorable week. About a month ago, Dad wrote me and said that the last month of the mission is just as crazy as the first. And I didn`t understand what he meant. But now I do. I`m a 20 year old kid that you don`t even know! When we passed by Sunday morning to go to church, she was already ready! Monday, September 29. Austin: 9/29/2014 - The Book of Mormon is TRUE! On Saturday morning, we had a meeting as a zone. I was sitting there, waiting for it to start, and Hermana Sales came in, and went directly to me (one of the sisters in my district that is teaching Kevin). She comes up to me and says you will never guess what happened with Kevin! So he asked the sisters what do I have to do to get baptized? They told him, and now he should get baptized this week or the next! And if you haven`t sent me ...

Tuesday, August 26. Austin: 8/25/2014 - It was a good week. Like the subject says, it was a good week. We had three baptisms! Michael, Patricia, and Lalo all got baptized! I´ll get to the story of all that in a sec. But they got married! Then on Saturday, it was the baptism! We had a massive baptism of 13 people I think from the entire stake! It took a long time to get everyone there, but they all came and got baptized! What I learned in year 1 of the mission. 1 God´s power and His hand in all things.

Heavenly Father cares about all of his children though, and he blessed Lexie to feel and be a part of what was going on in truly miraculous ways. May 28, 2013. My 16 year old son decided he wanted to go to prom this year. He was a little stressed about the whole thing, but I think he ended up having a good time. So crazy that all these little kids that I once had are now all getting old. (I had my very last primary child sing to me on Mother's Day-he will be 12 in October. So strange.where does the time go! Aug 13, 2014. When you have a child get married, it makes you do a lot of reflecting. It is kind of fun to think about them through the years, how they have changed and how they have stayed the same. As I have been going through all of the hundreds of pictures from engagements, bridals and the wedding day, I couldn't help but smile as so many reflected her personality. She could never keep a straight face, and always had a twinkle in her eye. This is one of my favorite pictures of her. :).

Aug 12, 2014. I set a goal almost two years ago to read Les Mis, the unabridged version. I started the book with my usual excitement. Certainly a book with so much hype, and such a beautiful story, had to be the best book ever written right? Well promise me you won't hate me, but it was perhaps one of the most difficult books I have ever tried to get through, and I only finished it finally this year because I had set the goal and I was determined, if not slow, to accomplish it.
