Just when I was pleasantly surprised at how smoothly my first full week back and work went, week 2 threw us for a loop. Was sick with a head cold. I knew that this would happen. You just can’t send a 3 month old to hang out with a gaggle of buggery toddlers for a few days and expect him not to get sick. The initial cold was not that bad.

I think that my cat and toddler are taking behavioral clues from each other. They are both very into whining/crying until they get what they want. It is driving me nuts. Any advice on how to curtail this behavior (in either cat or child) would be appreciated. I came home last night in a crankypants mood. And then I started to get angry.

We are getting ready for a big weekend over at #4! This is my favorite weekend of the year – 4. Of July and Eleanor’s birthday all rolled into one jam packed weekend of fun. Nana and Bumpa and GiGi and Grandpa are coming into town. There will be parades, fireworks, swimming, cake, ice cream… the list goes on and on. A pink Spiderman birthday cake.
