Cows and calves lounge on green pastures. Here is an example of a clover, alfalfa, timothy mix hayfield just before it is cut. Our cattle are raised on pasture, the way cattle were meant to live. We currently have 40 acres of pastureland which cows and calves graze most of the year. During the summer months we cut and bale hay that is then fed to cattle through the wintermonths as they graze corn stalks left in the field. Beautiful sunset at Schroeder Farms.
