Since Jerry got home there have been some ups and downs as expected. As a reminder - Jerry is using a feeding tube for all food and drink and the goal for food was 7 cans of this Vital stuff. Friday, September 28, 2012. Today around 11:00am marks two years since Jerry first received the news he has Kidney Cancer. It has been a challenging 2 years but I am so grateful to say that I have my best friend still with me to share our lives together. Jerry goes for his next set of scans on October 15 then sees Dr. Suresh Nair. No Evidence of Disease). I wish I can take this away from you my sweet man but I can only pray that you are healed. You are so strong, keep fighting. Donna and Jerry and cancer.

Tuesday, February 26, 2013. It's been since August that Jerry was last on a maintenance treatment for his cancer and he has finally started a new maintenance treatment. He decided to go with the trial, and Dr. Keefe also feels this is the best move for him. He will be taking an FDA approved drug Avastin. My sweetheart will have a follow up with the Radiologist on March 18. . A follow up for Dr. Judy - Neurologist is set for April 18 to go over scans of the brain. I guess that is it for now. Tuesday, February 26, 2013. It's been since August that Jerry was last on a maintenance treatment for his cancer and he has finally started a new maintenance treatment. Saturday, April 20, 2013. Say a prayer please. Jerry is back at Penn today.aspiration pnumonia! Ugh please pray that he gets better. Yesterday he had his appointment with onc. and treatment. Before he started he was to have scans of his pelvis and abdomen, so the lovely tech comes in with this white chalk (barium) for Jerry to drink. Well I was surprised that he drank quite a bit of it. when he went in for scans he could not lay flat without choking so he was unable to get scans. I so would love to updat...

Friday, August 24, 2012. In my last post I said Jerry would be going back to Lehigh Valley this Monday, August 27. Dr. Nair's nurse called last week and said the appointment is changed to September 4. I will update during that week. Since coming home from round 3, Jerry has been very tired, had major hives for about a week, and is taking an inhaler - he was having heaviness in his chest after coming home. Once again, thank you so much for all your prayers and well wishes. Donna and Jerry and cancer.
