Cross Stitch Happy: Seahorse Scissor Fob/Back of Mermaid Fob
http://www.xstitchhappy.net/2014/05/seahorse-scissor-fobback-of-mermaid-fob.html
As you can probably tell, I love counted cross stitch! Tuesday, May 13, 2014. Seahorse Scissor Fob/Back of Mermaid Fob. I used this design for the back of the Mermaid fob but it could easily be used for a quick-stitch scissors fob on its own. The alphabet I used to personalize it can be found at Carousel Charts - scroll to the bottom of the page and there is a list of free charts on the right. I just love the "Jewel Alphabets". Seahorse Scissors Fob/Back of Mermaid Fob - pdf. Such a pretty little design!

Cross Stitch Happy: March 2010
http://www.xstitchhappy.net/2010_03_01_archive.html
As you can probably tell, I love counted cross stitch! Sunday, March 14, 2010. Sadly, the emotional toll was just as great. Keeping the leg elevated enough to reduce the severe swelling made it impossible to stitch or be on the computer, or do much of anything else, for that matter. Frustration over not being able to do what I wanted. To do as well as what I needed. And special thanks to:. And last, but not at all least, my dear, dear friend, Monique, who went to great lengths to find me again - always t...

Cross Stitch Happy: May 2015

As you can probably tell, I love counted cross stitch! Sunday, May 10, 2015. Stork Scissors Alphabet - Finished at Last! I finally finished the other alphabet I've been wanting to do for a long time. The color scheme was chosen to complement the 2014 Gingher's Designer Series Scissors, Eve, but it is easily changed for a whole new look. I'm using the letters for scissor fobs of course, but I'm planning to use them for personalizing some stitchers' gifts, too. Maybe a whole new needlework set? Jewels of S...

Cross Stitch Happy: GONE!?! ...Moved....
http://www.xstitchhappy.net/2014/05/gone-moved.html
As you can probably tell, I love counted cross stitch! Tuesday, May 6, 2014. The second one forwards to the .net address, as does my blogspot.com address so hopefully I haven't completely disappeared! The worst part is that I can't even leave a message at the old address redirecting to the new one so it just looks like I have closed it down. If you are reading this, you have somehow managed to track me down and I thank you for your efforts and apologize for the inconvenience! Woo finally found ya! I've b...

Cross Stitch Happy: November 2014
http://www.xstitchhappy.net/2014_11_01_archive.html
As you can probably tell, I love counted cross stitch! Wednesday, November 19, 2014. I love fall but it comes at a cost. My favorite part of summer is watching hummingbirds darting around, swooping and screeching, hovering and sipping, glittering jewels on wings. I'm always sad to see them leave as summer fades into fall but I love the way my heart jumps at the first sighting of their return in the spring. Hummingbird Alphabet Upper Case .pdf. Cross Stitch Happy: August 2015
http://www.xstitchhappy.net/2015_08_01_archive.html
As you can probably tell, I love counted cross stitch! Sunday, August 2, 2015. I love scissors. Pretty. Scissors. Pretty embroidery. My first pair of stork scissors got me started on a lifelong hobby of collecting embroidery scissors and they range from antique to brand new, expensive to free, sturdy to delicate, colorful to plain metal and everything in between! I love the variety and admire the creativity of some of the makers. Cute, pretty or just plain fun scissors can be found for less. Busy Bees Ne...
