Thursday, August 18, 2005. So I have not been a faithful blogger in the last month. After being at the beach for over a week and jumping right back into school when I got back- it's just been a hectic time! I am finally starting to adjust to the work routine again. I still hate waking up when it's dark outside! And I said, "get it! Chris asked, "with what? I don't know, grab it by the tail and drop it into a bucket! Chris was shocked that I would even suggest this and replied that "he is no Steve Irwin&#...

Thursday, September 29, 2005. This activity quickly bores Cody and he lays down. She isn't nearly strong enough to pull him up with his leash, but she encourages him, yelling, "Dee-dee, get up! Grace currently takes great pride in getting Cody his food in the mornings. She grabs his bowl, and says, "Dee-dee, eat foof! She won't pronounce the "d" on the end of "food" and replaces it with the "f" sound.) She takes great pleasure in doing this service for him, and likes to watch Cody anticipate his meal!

Thursday, December 01, 2005. Tennessee Fun with the Gragg's. We had such a great time visiting Chris' sister Jenna, her husband Daniel, and their new bundle of joy, Makayla! We were thrilled to visit our first niece. The fall foliage was incredible. I think we just barely saw the beautiful colors in time, before the leaves fell off. Makayla is such a sweet baby, and makes the cutest sounds. She is definitely a vocal little girl, with lots of squeaks and grunts! Posted by The Martin Family at 8:30 PM.

Monday, May 29, 2006. Adventures in Potty Training. I'm happy to report that Grace's main struggle with potty training is becoming easier! Many of you have witnessed her agony of actually going #2 on the toilet. She holds it for days at a time, until she can't possibly hold it anymore, and will then finally go on the toilet. Over the last two weeks, she's cut down the average of holding it for 4-5 days, to 2-3 days. Thank goodness.I can't imagine being that uncomfortable for that long! Good job, Mommy!

I was relieved that there was no mistaking it, from seeing him on the ultrasound. I honestly didn't even want to know what the tech "thought" it was, if there wasn't a. Isn't that such a sweet thing for her to do? Posted by The Martin Family at 2:55 PM. Tuesday, April 04, 2006. Bump in the Road. Posted by The Martin Family at 2:44 PM. How i wonder photography.

Wednesday, March 22, 2006. The Minds of My Middle Schoolers. I had yet to tell my students that I am pregnant, until I finally decided to go ahead and tell them yesterday. Their reactions were pretty funny and also sweet. Some of them said, "another baby? As if I already have 10 kids. Others said, ". Pregnant, Mrs. Martin? When she heard the news, she started screaming, pumping her arms up and down in the air, and stomping her feet up and down underneath her desk- all out of excitement! They didn't want ...
