Yep, the Texas Star Party is coming up next month, and I'm getting excited about it. This year, it's April 20-27, and I'll be heading to West Texas with my gear. This year, I'm going to be just taking the Celestron. With its larger diameter, I'll be able to take advantage of the dark skies and chase some of the fainter objects. Sunday, March 08, 2009. The weather was perfect, and I and dozens of other volunteers helped the public get their astronomy on with views of Jupiter, the Moon, and celestial wonders near and far.
