Friday, 13 February 2009. Learning about air experiment2! We are learning about how hot air rises. We looked at how a hot air balloon rises up and down. We used spiral snakes to look at the hot air rising in our own classroom. We hung some snakes over the radiator. We hung the other snakes over the round table. We saw that the snakes over the radiator danced when the hot air from the radiator rose up. Our snakes look lovely and colourful hanging in our classroom now. Posted by Scoil Chaitríona Junior.

Friday, 6 March 2015. We rehearsed for our Christmas play in the church. Franciszek brought his new pet to show us. We decorated our windows for Christmas. We had a big adventure and visited the Bon Secours Hospital where we had treats and sang Christmas songs around the tree. It was fun. It is Winter. We were very busy. Tuesday, 11 June 2013. We had a great time in the Radisson Hotel to celebrate our planting and mural projects sponsored by Medtronic! Wednesday, 17 April 2013. We have been learning a lot about the Titanic. Last week was the 101st anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic. We created projects with lots of facts! Thursday, May 10, 2012. We are celebrating Mary this month. We have made our very own May Altar in school. We brought in some beautiful May flowers to decorate it with. Teacher was very pleased with us! We are saying special prayers to Mary all this month and singing about her in choir. We love you Mary! Our Outer Space MARBLING MAGIC! This month we are learning lots about outer space! The inks collected on the page like MAGIC to make fun, colourful designs.check them out! We love watching them grow!

Saturday, November 1, 2014. THANK YOU to everyone that sponsored us for our Halloween Walk. There was great excitement in the days leading up to it and we loved seeing all our friends dressed up in costumes. Monday, November 5, 2007. On the 19th October, our class took a trip to Brigit's garden in Roscahill. We travelled there by bus, it was very exciting! Our guide was called Dolores, and she let us explore the woods, we looked for leaves and berries, and searched for nuts, We listened for birds, and heard the robin and bluetit.
