I slept in until Moses started meowing at me through the door, and I got up after spending a little time in bed with him. Cameron is so small that it doesn't really matter where you sit, and it was definitely a different experience for me to not be sitting in the Crazies section! Friday, May 14, 2010. Today marks the one year anniversary of my surgery, and I'm doing wonderfully. I'm so thankful to Dr. Hey and his staff for fixing my back and giving me the confidence that I didn't have before. Things are great. The school year was fantastic, and I've just been thriving. Five years ago, I could not even walk to classes at Duke a few hundred yards from my dorm without experiencing excruciating pain and terrible shortness of breath.
