Little Billy's Scooter Tales: May 2007
http://scootertales.blogspot.com/2007_05_01_archive.html
Little Billy's Scooter Tales. Sunday, May 27, 2007. Ride To "New" Work. Here's my working class scoot Mule, parked in our classy new workplace. We have actually laid claim to a parking area designated for "Scooters Only". Had Jeff and Dreamcrusher not been at lunch, the photo would have been of three scoots instead of one. The upside is that my daily commute has doubled in distance, and this gives me a chance to unwind, and take the slow road home. Posted by Bill Sommers at 1:32 PM. Coming from this part...

Little Billy's Scooter Tales: July 2007
http://scootertales.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Little Billy's Scooter Tales. Sunday, July 29, 2007. Clean It, Fix It, Sell It. Ever since the big windstorm last November, my Harley Davidson has been tucked away in the "old" shop out back. Now that I've glombed onto the scooter as my chosen mode of two wheeled trasportation, I haven't really wanted to visit my old Sporty. That was, not until Friday. Posted by Bill Sommers at 2:45 PM. Wednesday, July 25, 2007. My father-in-law "Corndog" had gone out last Thursday to meet up with some great folks that w...

Little Billy's Scooter Tales: June 2007
http://scootertales.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
Little Billy's Scooter Tales. Friday, June 29, 2007. Happy In The Rain. Well, it wasn't raining when I left work, why would I think that it would before I got home? Oh yeah, it always rains in June here. Maybe Summer will officially begin on July 5th like it does every year. Ahh, who cares, I'm happy and thats all that counts. My wife probably thought that I was nuts the other night when I went peeling down the road wearing my cargo shorts and a skull design tee-shirt, yelling "Wooo"! Reaction. This ...

Little Billy's Scooter Tales: March 2007

Little Billy's Scooter Tales. Sunday, March 25, 2007. Waking Up My Old Vespa. And Myself. Six short kicks had Ol' Blue clouding up the yard with that wonderful two-stroke smoke that I just love. Even my neighbor took notice and came over. He and his wife have Yamaha Zuma scooters that probably won't see daylight till June. Too bad, because the weather is looking better than it has for months, and it seems a waste to not ride whenever you can. But that's his deal. I no longer have the urge or want for some...

Little Billy's Scooter Tales: January 2007
http://scootertales.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
Little Billy's Scooter Tales. Wednesday, January 31, 2007. Let Me Think About This. Being a pondering person by nature, I tend to think things through to try to get a better understanding of what something is about in order to better handle the situation, or to at least know what makes something tick. So it was with this Allstate project that we have in the works. I wondered to myself as to why I have such a keen interest in a project that is not mine. For example, I brought up my want to build another o...

Little Billy's Scooter Tales: October 2006
http://scootertales.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Little Billy's Scooter Tales. Monday, October 30, 2006. Christmas Trees and The Great Pumpkin. Man, I've still got summer seasonal items including tiki torch oil for sale on our clearance shelves. I'm not ready. I'm old fashioned. But at least being the way I am, I hope to teach my kids a little bit about the simpler pleasures of how we approached the holidays when I was their age. Little Billy's Scooter Tales: February 2007

Little Billy's Scooter Tales. Wednesday, February 28, 2007. Flattery Will Get You Somewhere. I'll start by saying that the quote "Imitation is the highest form of flattery" is true. And folks, I'm feeling pretty darned flattered right now. Now, I had heard that a BR had been sold with a set-up like mine, but I wasn't positive that it was the same guy that I had spoken with, so when I saw him ride in to the Honda dealership parking lot today, I was pleased. Little Billy's Scooter Tales: April 2007
http://scootertales.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Little Billy's Scooter Tales. Saturday, April 28, 2007. Do you remember that really horrible song, "Sunshine Day" that the Brady Bunch kids sang on the "Silver Platter" episode a few decades ago? Well, that tune could have been played as background music today as Mother Nature painted the sky with brilliant blue, and held the clouds back far enough to have one believe that it really is spring, with summer not far away. At least they were riding, I was stuck at work trying to earn a buck. Ahh yet another ...

Little Billy's Scooter Tales: December 2006
http://scootertales.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_archive.html
Little Billy's Scooter Tales. Sunday, December 31, 2006. Riding Out In Style. Sitting in the former location of my now defunct quonset hut, I'm just heading out for a little spin on "Old Blue", my '66 Vespa. This was probably the nicest day we've had in quite a while, so I put about 12 miles on my vintage scooter before taking Mule out for a jaunt later in the day. Happy New Year to all my new friends! Have fun in '07,. Posted by Bill Sommers at 4:19 PM. Thursday, December 28, 2006. I really like them...

Little Billy's Scooter Tales: November 2006

Little Billy's Scooter Tales. Wednesday, November 29, 2006. I Wish It Would Snow Like The Old Days. Scootin' in a Winter Wonderland. I've been running my mouth lately about wanting to have a snowy winter, "the way it was when I was a kid". So between Sunday and Monday we ended up with 10 inches of snow in my yard. My parents got 15", and my boss was buried with two feet. So now that I have my wish, what do I do with it? Posted by Bill Sommers at 4:00 PM. Saturday, November 25, 2006. The Black Ice Club.
