My research, my interest...: November 2008
http://ameyresearch.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
My research, my interest. Saturday, November 22, 2008. Now, it's time to read. I got a book to read this week and a few papers from various journals download from the web to understand. However, it is very interesting to read 'thought' on biogeography from the geographer, like Dr. Tivy. I bought this book from carboot sales for 50pence. For something which was published in 1971, I don't mind at all! The 3rd edition of the book is still available via Amazon.com/Amazon.co.uk! Posted by amey ahmad.

My research, my interest. Thursday, February 19, 2009. Freshwater fish of Ulu Kenas, Perak. Type: Sok River at Kompong Sok, Kelantan, Malaysia]. Remark. I am not sure where Sok River is? Anyone can tell me where is Kampung Sok? I love to visit the stream, to see what is 'left' there after almost 40 years! And it would be great to collect the fish, from the type locality for museum collection. This fish was reported from various part of southeast Asia, in flowing stream over rocky bottom.
