Scott and Karen's Ministry Updates: April 2012
http://scott-at-naim.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Scott and Karen's Ministry Updates. Friday, April 6, 2012. Good Friday/Easter- Why We Do What We Do. Last night as I went to bed I tried contemplating about the Cross and Christ's sufferings. My world seemed so far from His at that moment. He was interrogated, beaten and mocked. I lay in a comfortable bed with my two soft pillows and warm blanket. His night was sleepless and led to His death. Mine led to a peaceful night's sleep. Our worlds seemed so far apart. Philip P. Bliss. Ruined sinners to reclaim.

Scott and Karen's Ministry Updates: Why Do We Get Grumpy Anyway?
http://scott-at-naim.blogspot.com/2009/11/ministry-update-nov-dec-2009.html
Scott and Karen's Ministry Updates. Friday, November 20, 2009. Why Do We Get Grumpy Anyway? I was grumpy. There, I’ve said it. I had just arrived in Klemtu at 5:30am for a week of ministry. I hadn’t slept well on the ferry that night and had been up since 4am. There was an inch of wet slush on the ground which quickly soaked through to my feet. Cold freezing rain came down slowly soaking through my jacket and shirt. I agreed with the Lord. What else was I to do? With our love and thanks,. Equipping Today...

Scott and Karen's Ministry Updates. Wednesday, October 5, 2011. One of the Good Guys Went Home Last Week. Many of you may remember us talking about Willard and Gloria White. They are the couple that were a big part of our fellowship in Campbell River, being part of our worship team. Willard didn't pick up the guitar until in his 60's and sang his first solo in church not long after, singing "The Old Rugged Cross". Willard was a kind and gentle man, always ready with a smile and a kiss for unsuspecting la...

Scott and Karen's Ministry Updates. Friday, April 11, 2008. Native Ministers- Young and Old. The past few weeks have been very interesting for me. For the past month I have been visiting the Lay-Minister, Betty, from Klemtu who has been in and out of ICU with many significant health issues. There have been days when we didn't know if she would make it through the night. To date, God has answered our prayers but she has a long ways to go before she can leave ICU. Tuesday, April 1, 2008. Scott and Karen's Ministry Updates: Sometimes Ministry Here is Just Like at Home, Sometimes It's Not

Scott and Karen's Ministry Updates. Thursday, September 1, 2011. Sometimes Ministry Here is Just Like at Home, Sometimes It's Not. Was there something pressing in the Ministry? I knew of one relationship which had gone sideways, was that what was on their minds? Does any of this sound familiar to your life? I thought of Rodney King, the man who years ago was beaten by the LA Police which led to the LA riots. At the time he went on TV and said, "Can't we all just get along? Sometimes they are different...
