A few stories as they happen from Africa and elsewhere. Friday, June 26, 2009. I had promised to post some of the videos when I finally had them loaded and edited (even if done by an amateur, me). This first one is of a tribal dance that the kids did. It's a little bit long, 5 mins, but still very representative of the types of tribal dancing that they used to do. The second video is beautiful, it's the Room 13 choir doing an african song for us. The voices on some of these children were unbelievable.

Wild Dogs are not one of the first things most people think about on seeing on a safari and I didn’t expect them to be so interesting. The African Wild Dog is an endangered species with only four populations in the continent of Africa. One of those is Kruger Park and the surrounding area.
