My Menagerie: January 2011

http://memorablemenagerie.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html

Life as seen from this Mom's perspective. 10 Things You Might Not Know About Me. I've come to the conclusion that perhaps I'm not a very interesting person and it took me about 2 weeks to think of just these. If I think of more, I might just have to post them. 1 - I eat homemade popcorn and have a caffeine free diet Pepsi every other night. Why only every other, you ask? Well every night would just be way over the top! 2 - I heart Sci-Fi movies! Or is it Sy-Fy? 5 - I LOVE potlucks! 9 - I have two tattoos...

Life as seen from this Mom's perspective. In my 101 in 1001 I stated I was going to get my Grandma's piano. and I did! So, Zoe and Hayden both love to tinker on it. Occasionally I'll ask Zoe if she's interested in taking piano lessons. Every time she answers that she already knows how to play the piano. The last time I asked her, I thought I would take a different approach and ask if she wanted to learn how to read music. Then she could play even better! Jaime Blog = FAIL! Rewilding

A family re-inhabiting America. Monday, December 23, 2013. We have now lived in our cozy 14' x 16' tent for 2 years, yet I feel like we have only now officially experienced winter. We had 6 inches of snow, temperatures in the teens, frozen water lines, snow days, and a visit from Frosty the Snowman! That is all behind us now, and we are back to sunshine and 60 degrees for at least the next week. The snow has melted, school is out for Christmas, and we had our windows and doors delivered just in time!
