Monday, February 6, 2012. Tumble Kids - Week 2. Ansley went to her tumbling class last week and loved it again! Cousin Vivi decided to try the class too and she really had fun too! I really don't know where she gets it! Ha, I wish. she is so much like me and in some ways I hate that. I was the child that cried uncontrollably in 1st grade because I didn't get an A on my test and my mom had to come to the school! Cooper thinks he's in the class too! Posted by The Ridge Family. Tuesday, November 29, 2011. Getting in the Christmas Spirit. I think I finally have all the Christmas decorations finished. I kind of dread decorating every year because you have to make such a mess but I love it when its all finished and cleaned up. We have a tree in our family room (in the pic), one in the playroom, and the kids each have a small tree in their rooms. They are so excited! Maybe I'll get around to taking some pics of other trees. Thursday, December 29, 2011. We had such a blessed Christmas! My kids got way more than they need. Its so fun to see their excitement and joy, and mostly over the littlest and least expensive thing. Ansley got a nintendo ds this year and was so excited. But she loved her stocking stuffers and has honestly played with all that stuff the most. Cooper is easy to please. Thursday, October 27, 2011. Got this idea on Pinterest. I decided to try it. My fridge and desk are covered in papers from school and coupons, etc. I did go with a smaller box than the one pictured on pinterest. They suggested a cereal box and I used a cracker box (just slightly smaller). Basically we just lounged around the house, but a couple times we went to dinner and we even spent a ridiculous amount watching Transformers. Can you believe it is $21 for two people to see a movie? One of the things we learned this year in Peru and Bolivia is that things do not have to be perfect.and flexibility is essential to sanity and peace. By the way, this is a greenhouse near completion.and built totally by women! The Puno Church, almost completed. It was a big project to oversee, which Scott did well.
