Friday, August 9, 2013. Colby - four months old. August 1, 2013. Weight: 16 lbs and 68th %. Height: 26 inches and 85th %. Our sweet boy had a growth spurt in length! He didn't grow as much as I thought he would in weight but he's still our lil "chub". At four months you just started rice cereal oatmeal. You loved it and started kicking and gurgling for more. You gobbled up the whole bowl! You're a drool monster! You are a solid nighttime sleeper (mommy and daddy are grateful! You are a very laid back bab...

Life with the Lankfords: Words
http://lifewiththelankfords.blogspot.com/2012/01/words.html
Monday, January 2, 2012. I want to remember all the words Connor is saying right now. Da doo or ta too = thank you. Hi = hi and bye (with a wave of course). Out = out (usually accompanied by a hand motion and pointer finger). Mama = mama (used very sparingly and usually only in times of desperation! Dada = dada (first thing he says in the morning when he wakes up, says dada constantly! Na / nuh = no. Shhhh = shhh (and puts his finger to his mouth / cheek) doesnt count as a word, but still. Ma = mas / more.

Life with the Lankfords: Colby - two months old
http://lifewiththelankfords.blogspot.com/2013/07/colby-two-months-old.html
Tuesday, July 9, 2013. Colby - two months old. June 1, 2013. Colbs weighed 13 lbs 14 oz at his 2 month appointment. WOW. This boy is growing and healthy! I'm happy to say he outgrew his grumpy / fussiness that we enduring during month one. For my mommy records:. He nurses every 3 hours with a 'dream feed' at 11 pm. He wakes between 5 and 6 am but goes right back to sleep after nursing. I'm pretty sure this counts as sleeping through the night? This started around 6 weeks. We love you little man! Colby - ...

THE IRVINGS: stay little, big girls
http://jeananddaniel.blogspot.com/2014/08/stay-little-big-girls.html
Thursday, August 7, 2014. Stay little, big girls. Writing this post has been on my heart a lot lately. the words just come and go throughout my days here at home. Every since the girls were born, I couldn't wait for the next stage. When they started to coo, I wanted a laugh. When they rolled over, I wanted a crawl. Walking, running. And it goes on. I don't know when it exactly started but the phrase "big girl! That the closet light in their room always be left on. That Emma will always want me to pat her...

THE IRVINGS: nursery + baby bump
http://jeananddaniel.blogspot.com/2014/06/nursery-baby-bump.html
Friday, June 13, 2014. Henry will be here in just a few days! Hard to believe it and I am so thankful I made it! Also hard to believe I've decorated two nurseries now. and will have to do a third once we move again. I never took pics of the nursery at the old house, which is sad because it was really cute! We set this house up as best as we could and it will be perfect for the summer. I still haven't taken pictures of the room, but still took this snap shot of his changing table and hospital bag.

THE IRVINGS: Henry :: the first six weeks
http://jeananddaniel.blogspot.com/2014/08/henry-first-six-weeks.html
Saturday, August 2, 2014. Henry : the first six weeks. Henry is almost seven weeks old - time is flying by! 1 When we got home from the hospital we were just so refreshed and happy to have our baby home with us. And then he cried straight for six hours the first night. And then five hours the next night. We went a good four or five days of taking turns pacing through the house between the hours of 8pm-2pm and it was exhausting. and so sad! And then he slept for nearly three hours! It was the first night ...
