I thought before all of the craziness that come with having a new baby I would update the blog with what has happened over the last four months! For how long we don't really know but my best guess is that it happened during our move. We spent News Years in as a family. Sloan passed out early and Scott and I were in bed by 10 pm. Scott, Courtney and Sloan. Sunday, January 22, 2012. The last couple of days have been filled with a LOT of mishaps with my quilt. Yes I am admitting to it! Instead of sewing onto the bottom (the correct way) I was sewing on to the top. I had mixed up my labels after showing off at my grandma's house. Here is my progress! Scott, Courtney and Sloan. Monday, February 3, 2014. I am really bad at blogging. I have decided that with moving I really want somewhere to document all of our pictures and adventures! So I will try to so a quick 2013 in review since it has been a year since I last wrote here. February- Scott started receiving interviews for D.O. programs and we started planning all 4 trips! I also made a ton of baby gifts for a bunch of friends who were all pregnant. I love to make baby things so I had a blast! 2 weeks...

Scott, Courtney and Sloan. Saturday, March 27, 2010. Oh and I forgot! We got picuters of BABY! We had an appointment to hear the heartbeat and they couldnt find it. . . 3 appointments later that day and a whole day of worrying later we got an ultrasound! I was so exctied to see our baby for the first time! So Scott and I went to Mexico this last week! We laid on the beach, zip lined through the forest, went to the boardwalk in town and eat some of the BEST food I have ever tasted! That was a huge King bed.

Scott, Courtney and Sloan. Monday, February 25, 2013. Mickey Mouse Blanket and Floor Mat! Sloan has become increasingly obsessed with Mickey Mouse over the last few months. So Scott and I decided that for Valentines Day I would make him a blanket shaped as Mickey's head! I have to give major props to Scott, he figured out the template and helped me cut everything out! This thing is massive! 60x52" hahaha way bigger than we were expecting! As you can see Sloan loves it! So does Scott hahaha.

Thursday, June 2, 2011. Ear I go to the cemetery with my parents to clean the graves and take flowers. I'm grateful for my parents example and how diligent they are. My mom's mom is buried in Preston and my mom even drove up by herself to take flowers. When my dad cleans the graves he cleans them alright. Sometimes life throws a wrench. A really bad wrench. And sometimes we surprise ourselves. Alan lost his job last week {on my birthday to be exact}. And it was a pretty low blow to our little family. Even though its been hard to wrap our heads around the changes we'll need to make,. We're both doing pretty well given the circumstances. Al's already got some leads on jobs and some plans to make ends meet. I guess when the worst happens all you can do is pick yourself up. Clearly my tear quota has doubled.
