My brother in law/Scott's step brother, Joshua, deployed for Afghanistan the day we left for our honeymoon at the beginning of may. Great News: HE IS HOME! Such an awesome feeling! I get emotional just thinking about it all. I am just so glad he is home SAFE and finally gets to be with his girls. WELCOME HOME JOSHUA! Thanks to all the troops out there defending our country! I am so excited to see what 2010 has in store for us. This year was the first year that I did not spend the Christmas holiday with my side of the family. It was hard, but i handled it well. I have been extremely blessed to have such an awesome in law family and i definitely felt at home! Scott and I have become and aunt and uncle again!

One week ago today (Jan. 19) i received a phone call from my dad at 8:30 am My uncle Danny had passed away. WHAT? I was in shock. Why? Millions of questions ran through my head but all i could do was cry. I was at work when I got the call. Needless to say, it was a VERY rough day! My fondest memories of my uncle are:.
