Wengels . The Making of. Tuesday, April 28, 2009. So, now that school is out, we have time for things like haircuts and tattoos. Just kidding. But Curt did give himself a "tattoo" the other night. Saturday, April 25, 2009. Warmer weather, blooming tulips, open windows, starting that summer tan, and I even enjoy the rainy days. I think my girls love spring too because they have wanted to be outside every moment possible. Tori is constantly pointing outside saying, "Eeeeeee". Wednesday, June 4, 2008. Our new patio- here are before and after pictures of our patio behind our barn room that we just finished. There were remenants of stone foundations and old cobblestones, so we took those up and filled in to the stone foundations and now have a nice patio area out the door instead of a muddy mess. Wednesday, September 23, 2009. I don't know how people have time to keep up on blogs. I had a grand idea to update this on Sunday afternoons, but somehow those have gotten busy, too. Thursday, July 16, 2009. Growing a Green Thumb. Having a house has been so much fun and so much work! We've been busy putting in our backyard, and since we like to think of ourselves as wise with our money (basically a couple of cheapskates), this means we are doing it all on our own with little help. It's a slow process with quite the learning curve, but it has been very rewarding. After the weeds came the many, many hours of sprinkler work.
