Here is Kaylee's birth story for those who care. It is pretty detailed and long so I won't be offended if you don't care and skip down to the pictures! At that point, I would be 39 weeks, 3 days. Scott and Whitney: December 2012

http://scottandwhitneymartin.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html

Saturday, December 15, 2012. I swear I just did a monthly update on Brooklyn! This past month has flown by! Here are some things about Brooklyn. She is standing on her own very comfortably and can get to a standing position without needing to hold onto anything. She cruises around furniture and will take small steps in between the couches but will only take steps in the open while holding my hands. I don't think walking is too far away but I could be wrong! Is starting to turn up her nose at any food on ...

Scott and Whitney: September 2013

http://scottandwhitneymartin.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html

Monday, September 16, 2013. So, I guess it's safe to say I have greatly slacked on the whole blogging thing. I'm not even sure where to start so I think I'll just go month by month. This is going to be a BIG time picture overload! Yummy Greek Yogurt beard.(one of her favorite snacks). She loves the kiddie pool! And will get in with clothes on and all! I took Brooklyn into the Pediatrician to check for a UTI. We spent a good 2-3 hrs there waiting for her to pee in a bag! Just feeding her princess. She lov...

Scott and Whitney: February 2013

http://scottandwhitneymartin.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html

Wednesday, February 27, 2013. This history of "The Cottage". We are fortunate enough to have really cheap rent while we save for a down payment and yet still have our independence. Here's a little tour. On the right, is the edge of Scott's parent's house, so we are tucked back in the driveway. When you walk in the front door. That blue Lay Z Boy was Scott's Grandpa's and it was perfect to have with a baby! Looking from the back door. Down the hall.the bathroom is on the right, our bedroom on the left.

Scott and Whitney: April 2013

http://scottandwhitneymartin.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html

Monday, April 8, 2013. Grandma Martin made Brooklyn the CUTEST Easter dress! She looked so pretty and it was a great day reflecting the Resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ. I'm so grateful for the Atonement and Resurrection of Christ and the Restored Gospel where I know I have the chance to return to my Father in Heaven. Little stinker would NOT keep any of her hair clips in! We went to my sister's softball game and it was FREEZING! The only thing that cheered her up was M&Ms. Taking a short nap in t...

Sail to the Moon: February 2009

http://melissaeixenberger.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html

Friday, February 27, 2009. Sleeping In The Forest. I thought the earth remembered me,. She took me back so tenderly,. Arranging her dark skirts, her pockets. Full of lichens and seeds. I slept as never before, a stone on the river bed,. Nothing between me and the white fire of the stars. But my thoughts, and they floated light as moths. Among the branches of the perfect trees. All night I heard the small kingdoms. Breathing around me, the insects,. And the birds who do their work in the darkness. Eventua...

Sail to the Moon: May 2009

http://melissaeixenberger.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html

Saturday, May 23, 2009. The Year of the Dragon. I was born in 1988, which, according to the Zodiac, makes me a DRAGON! A Chinese Horoscope website said the following about those born in the year of the Dragon. Thursday, May 21, 2009. The Many Reasons I love Scotland. It's like a fairy tale. The Loch Ness Monster! Smelly fishing boats and the best seafood dinners. Scottish weddings and, of course, SCOTTISH BOYS! Getting on the wrong train. Rock collecting when the tide is low. Fields of endless flowers.

Sail to the Moon: New Moon!

http://melissaeixenberger.blogspot.com/2009/11/new-moon.html

Thursday, November 19, 2009. The day has finally come: New Moon comes out in theaters tonight at midnight! Sadly, I won't be able to go, but I will definitely see it before the weekend is over. I must admit I have a little bit of a crush on Robert Pattinson. I am not usually one to obsess over celebrities, but come on. you must admit he is pretty dreamy! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Sail to the Moon: I am thankful for....

http://melissaeixenberger.blogspot.com/2009/11/i-am-thankful-for.html

Thursday, November 26, 2009. I am thankful for. 1) Family and Friends. I love you all). Seriously the sweetest guy on earth). 4) Being young and alive! Where else can you get a sweet red vintage bag and blue blazer for 10 dollars? They help us breathe, they are pretty, and without them we would have nothing to decorate at Christmas). What a good thanksgiving list! I hope you enjoyed the holiday! November 30, 2009 at 1:26 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Provo, Utah, United States.

Sail to the Moon: January 2010

http://melissaeixenberger.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html

Sunday, January 10, 2010. For some reason, I tend to witness very strange things here in Utah. 2) Today, I saw a penguin on the I-15 freeway. I know it sounds like a scene out of Billy Madison, but I really saw it. I even turned around and drove by it a second time. If it didn't appear to be dead (or in a very peaceful sleep, as I like to hope) I would have captured it and kept it as a pet inside my freezer. It looked exactly like this one, only less lively. And on the freeway nonetheless?

Sail to the Moon: July 2009

http://melissaeixenberger.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html

Wednesday, July 22, 2009. Babies of the 80's. Since I was born in 1988 I thought I would pay tribute to the wonderful, and bizarre decade.  I think we can all agree that t. He 80’s was the birth era of some pretty hideous fashion trends (ummmm neon thong leotards? But it also started a few trends that I think are quite brilliant. Ruffles, shoulder pads, acid wash jeans, and high waisted pants… I love them all! So I pulled out some 80's inspired pieces from my closet for a little trip back to my roots.

http://melissaeixenberger.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html

Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Come on Coco, look at the camera! Coco loves climbing on Mcka. Ruffled Cami: Arden B. Thursday, September 24, 2009. Lions, Tigers, and Bears (and one small cat). I have been begging Mckay to take me to the zoo for months now, and since we finally had a weekend home in Provo my dream came true last Saturday. I was like a kid in a candy shop, running around from animal to animal, until the park gates were closing and I was forced to say goodbye. Sunday, September 13, 2009.

Wednesday, July 8, 2015. Over and over in my mind as I looked out the window at the beautiful mountains just below me. Photos from a parade in the Plaza de Armas in the heart of Cusco. The view from the top of our hostel. Photos from our walking tour through Cusco. This Christus was visible from Sacsayhuaman. It overlooks the city of Cusco. This was a natural slide in the rocks at Sacsayhuaman. I may have been a wimp and decided not to participate after seeing just how much speed you gained going down.

Scott and Whitney

Sunday, December 21, 2014. While we may go back like we often do and make little backtracking updates, I figured we could do one post for now. The title makes sense because we aren't really sure where the last three months went. But here goes my best version of what has gone on since our last post:. We went to Houston over Labor Day where we were able to watch the Badgers take on (and lose) to LSU. We went to a bunch of Badger games, one with my mom, and loved going to tailgates with the business Badgers.

Keeping Up With the Aldriches

Keeping Up With the Aldriches. Tuesday, May 28, 2013. It's been a while since I blogged. I plan to catch up eventually but for now we will start with the present. Yesterday Leah turned six months old! Can you believe it? Her six month checkup was postponed until next week so I will update her stats after that appointment. Weight: 14 lbs. 14 oz. (as of May 15). Clothing size: 3-6 months. Leah can roll from tummy to back and back to tummy. She has been doing this for a while but as of this month she ca...
