It’s Caribbean Food Week this week, and last week a parcel arrived for me full to the brim of Caribbean Food, ready for me to make some delicious Caribbean food in conjunction with Caribbean Food Week. I used the Mild Curry Powder (the full tub). Coconut Milk (half a tin). Peas and Beans (half for the curry, half for the rice). From the ingredients I got given. Being a Northerner, I enjoy a good cup of tea (and also use ‘tea’ to describe my evening meal), it’s a drink that can be enjoyed at any time of the day, and I believe it can solve any problem. For me, the perfect brew is strong with a dash of milk, no sugar ‘I’m sweet enough’. I have found that Manchester is home to lots of other tea lovers like myself, and have discovered some lovely tea drinking spots.

We ended up in this funky little underground bar and after being there for only 10 minutes or so I knew it was definitely somewhere I wanted to end up again.
