Friday, August 26, 2011. Part 1 of August Road Trip}. We try to make it up to my parents cabin at least once if not twice a year and although the 9 1/2 hour drive (if you drive straight through no stops) is exhausting, the trip is ALWAYS refreshing! Wednesday, December 29, 2010. This morning we woke up to a gorgeous blanket of snow outside, and it's still coming down! So OF COURSE we had to go out in it! Katey just got a new snow suit and we've been excitedly waiting for an excuse to use it. Wednesday, September 28, 2011. 1st Day of Preschool Co-op! So a few friends and I started talking one day about how much we like the idea of getting our kids together for "school". Kinda a mix between homeschooling (which Joe and I plan to do) and traditional pre-school. This conversation quickly turned into excitement and we decided "why not start now! Our group has sadly shrunk with the Overby's moving away but still with 3 2 year olds and a 4 year old, Tracy, Lisa and I began our preschool today!

Thursday, October 18, 2012. Winters in oregon can be pretty bleak and, as an oregonian, those first hints of warmth and spring illicit pure joy and the desire to burst out of our winter cocoons and venture into the outdoors! Going to the park with Peter! Bringing the bikes out at Jer and Lisa's! A precious present my mother and father in law gave me. It has been a continued encouragement and reminder of their love and support through a hard time. Playing puzzles with friends. A little preschool fun :).

Tuesday, January 24, 2012. Blocks and Sister "Love". Beautiful After christmas play time, sisters playing serenely together in the quiet and piece of our Christmas afternoon. Maybe Grandpa will just hold Anna :). We got rather spoiled.and I dont just mean the girls with the gifts they brought, although that was true too :) Here are some highlights, I admit I didnt get the camera out nearly as much as I would have liked but honestly, many times I was just enjoying relaxing too much :). Saturday, June 25, 2011. Nana and Pappy Visit. 2 1/2 years old! Wow, how did my 6 lb 14 oz baby get to be 2 1/2 years old? But OHHH she is so much fun! She's silly, bouncy, moody, quirky, beautiful and all around just a hoot! Here are just a few pics I had then we went out for a "phoshoot" one morning while Daddy stayed home with sister :). Monday, October 3, 2011. Last Saturday was Anne's birthday! We sincerely love Anne and were so excited to be invited to join her and Seth on a birthday hike! Katey LOVED running ahead! Anna LOVED being in the pack, she just sang and laughed the whole time! Two pink water bottles :). Stopped for lunch :). After lunch Katey wanted to ride in the pack :). Sunday, March 4, 2012. So I have a new theory! January started out with a bang this year, With my gorgeous little, oh I still can't believe it! ONE year old's birthday! This was her birthday party invite,. And here were a few pics I snapped in the studio. Love my little expressionless girl! Here are a few pics from her birthday party taken by Tracy :). See what I mean! Quite a way to kick off the year wasn't it! And there is more to come. just in Jan :). A favorite game (for a week or so) was "fishing!
