Fuddle Duddle: June 2005
http://fuddle-duddle.blogspot.com/2005_06_01_archive.html
Tantum Vero Pacem Reperimus. June 9, 2005. The Winding Road Ahead. Thursday, January 29, 2009. And so the attack ads start. Posted by Andrew P. How disappointing. Attack ads are not virtuous. Can have a boomerang effect as well. January 29, 2009 at 1:33 PM. Dunno about the stations, but given they get less votes and donations then the Liberals (based on 2007 numbers), I'm going to guess not popular one's(re: expenisive air time). If you want to listen to them, they are posted on the front page of the NDP website. January 29, 2009 at 1:41 PM.

The Winding Road Ahead: The Devil is in the Details
http://thewindingroadahead.blogspot.com/2009/01/devil-is-in-details.html
The Winding Road Ahead. Wednesday, January 28, 2009. The Devil is in the Details. On the surface, the budget isn't horrible. Infrastructure spending, money for home buyers and reno's, increasing the flow of credit to consumers, retraining funding, changes to EI are all good, but as usual, the devil is in the details. EI rules need to be expanded so that more people qualify for it, because if you don’t’ qualify, the extra 2 weeks don’t make that big of a deal. Posted by Andrew P. View my complete profile.

Thursday, January 29, 2015. THE CONSERVATIVE PARTY OF CANADA v REALITY. The Conservative party's problem ain't so much with socialism as it with reality. If you really hate socialism, you hate cops, firemen, safe roads, libraries, and thank god in Canada, nurses and doctors and hospitals. And you don't hate cops and nurses do you? You may even be one! Haiti's a great example of right wing ideology brought to practice. Privatized water, privatize power, privatized port authority, privatized hospitals.

The upside down flag is the international nautical signal for ships in distress and in need of assistance. And is used here to represent the post coup d'etat status of Canada's Westminster democracy. Also it links to something. No disrespect intended. An antidote for this kind of thing. ANTI PEACE PROPAGANDA 101.

Pample the Moose: Canadian Museum for Human Rights, the Political and the Partisan
http://pamplemoose.blogspot.com/2014/03/canadian-museum-for-human-rights.html
A slightly acidic space for commentary, mixed with sweet undertones of optimism, and occasionally garnished with a cherry of insight. Pample the Moose is the blog of Matthew Hayday, an associate professor in the History Department at the University of Guelph. The assorted musings here are his, and do not reflect the positions of the university. Wednesday, March 12, 2014. Canadian Museum for Human Rights, the Political and the Partisan. CalgaryGrit: Primary Debates
http://calgarygrit.blogspot.com/2011/11/primary-debates.html
Tuesday, November 15, 2011. In his Macleans.ca debut. My friend Jeff Jedras takes aim at the proposal. Liberals will be voting on in January to move to a US-style primary system to choose the party's next leader and nominate candidates. While I've already voiced my support. For this system, Jeff raises three valid critiques which I want to take the time to rebut - one logistical, one conceptual, and one on the decision-making process. Seventeen US states let Democrats vote in Republican primaries and vic...

Wednesday, May 22, 2013. Posted by Steve V. Links to this post. Tuesday, May 07, 2013. Liberals: Cash, Polls, Attacks. A bit of a grab bag post on all things Liberal. With the usual "moment in time" caveat understood, these are still encouraging times for the Liberals. Apparently the Conservative attacks ads are focused heavily on Ontario and Atlantic Canada. The latest from Ipsos Reid brings a curious result:. Interestingly, among those who have seen the ads on television, 41 per cent said they intended...
