Wednesday, March 2, 2011. On my actual birthday we had a nice party over at my parents house. I was spoiled rotten, so much so that I might just need to turn 30 again next year. The best part about having a birthday as an adult is while opening presents all the kids flock to you. Even Cannon got in on the action! Scott did an awesome job making a cake all by himself for me. Monday, September 17, 2012. We were lucky enough to see Santa several times this Christmas and each time we feel it necessary to torment the kids by forcing them to sit on his lap. Cannon was not about to go anywhere near the guy, but finally settled down to take a picture once he realized there were treats involved. Jaden has always loved Santa and still does. Monday, September 17, 2012. We spent Thanksgiving in Preston this year, and whenever we make that 12 hour drive we try to pack in as much fun as possible. We started the trip after school so we only made it as far as Boise on the first night. The kids loved staying in hotel and swimming in the pool. No trip to Utah would be complete without at least one stop to Cafe Rio, so we crossed that off our list early on in the week. The Jones took us to the Lehi waterpark and the kids had the time of their lives!
