Thursday, August 11, 2011. As part of the conference that Scott attended in Honolulu; we went to visit the State Capitol of Hawaii. Here; Scott is standing behind the desk of the Governor. The building was a very open building with the Rotonda having no roof. Symbalic of a volcano. Walking a beautiful beach in Maui. This is where we also saw lots of kite surfers. Really cool to watch. Monday, January 31, 2011. Cub Scouts and the Rain gutter Regatta. Last Thursday night; our cub scouts in my ward had the raingutter regatta. Here 3 of our boys helped fill the gutters with water. Monday, March 5, 2012. Almost at the end of another session at the capitol! 45 days of the 2012 legislation session will be over on Thursday March 8. at midnight! It can't come soon enough this year. In defending our rights to less taxation; Scott has had more hate mail, horrible press coverage, and even death threats this year. One positive thing this year was; Austin was able to spend a day at the capitol with his dad. Here they are in a committee meeting debating a bill. March 6, 2012 at 10:54 AM.

Thursday, October 28, 2010. Avery Jenkins has arrived! Avery was born Sunday morning. She was excited to come here, because she made it in about 3 1/3 hours. She was 7 lb. 2 oz. and 18 in. Need less to say; we are proud grandparents.no matter how many little ones we get to join our family. Kate was just fasinated by Avery's little toes. Tuesday, August 9, 2011. Hawaii Cruise and Conference. Last week; Scott and I got home from 10 fabulous days spent in Hawaii. We took a cruise and visited all the Islands; golfing on each one. Every morning we started out our day walking or running on the ship for exercise, while the ship was getting ready to land on a different Island each day. ( Travel was each night while we slept).
