One problem which arises in using old statistics in this way is that little compromises which were made in drawing up the results for particular years. This particularly impacts on the results for Scandinavian countries, which tended to be grouped together on an ad-hoc basis. Scottish Highland November 2010. On the Caledonian Sleeper train. Driving over the Highlands in the morning. On the beach in Gairloch. Freezing but beautiful evening. And then it started snowing. A day out hiking. Are you sure we are still on the right path? Take the bloody picture! I am not having my picture taken with my hat on and it is way too cold to stand around like this for long! A nice spot for lunch. A warm lunch is great a day like this. Is that the sun? Just what you need after a day of hiking.
