Rainy Day Wren: Snowball Soap Surprise
http://www.rainydaywren.com/2010/01/snowball-soap-surprise.html
Saturday, January 2, 2010. We have once again been sick at our house. Couped up kids and cold weather have left us a bit restless. So we tackled a project. I had been meaning to try before Christmas. They turned out quite cute and they don't fall apart in the bathtub like I feared they might. We buried treasures inside and took some to friends to enjoy. My kids actually clamored to get in the tub tonight, so all in all successful. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Rainy Day Wren: July 2009
http://www.rainydaywren.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 28, 2009. Most people know that our third child had complications that led to her current special needs, but I sometimes get asked what those complications were and I often get asked about what happened in those first six months. She was born with Transposition of the Great Vessels (TOGV). And her vital organs were not receiving oxygenated blood. Our sweet girl then developed an array of complications following her initial surgery that led to many more trips to the OR and Cardiac Cath Lab.

Rainy Day Wren: November 2009
http://www.rainydaywren.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 30, 2009. I have been busy working on a project for Christmas. I am really excited to have them finished, but I am also enjoying the process. Saturday, November 7, 2009. So my solution to the mess is to make them drawstring bags that they can hang on their hook rack, everything in one place and away from a curious little brother. I like how they turned out so much that I might make them for more of their little objects. For this project you need:. 1/3 yard of fabric. Fold top back down a...

Saturday, August 29, 2009. The Sum of It's Parts. We had dinner, put little ones to bed, watched a movie, and ate too much candy. Friday, January 8, 2010. Remember all that felt. It's like the gift that keeps giving. Every time I cut into it, it makes me happy. I don't know if it's the colors or the seemingly never-ending supply. I made this little treat. For my polka-dot-loving niece for her first birthday today. And it makes me happy. My girls claim they absolutely need one too. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Stop Staring Start Sewing. Contributing and Guest Posting.
