My parents packed up the car with lots of stuff to make sure I (or they) was well equipped - pack and play, my bathtub, a gazillion diapers and lots of changes of clothes - and off we went. Saturday, October 02, 2010. Over a year ago, I took a few applique classes at Cloth and Bobbin. The class was based on Kim McLean's Flower Pots quilt. And I was inspired by the pattern to use tons of Kaffe Fassett. Fabrics. The quilt is huge, and before I got started I could barely hand-sew so I had no illusions of finishing this quickly.
