Thank you everyone for our support! Monday, August 4, 2008. I attended a Crew Extravaganza on Saturday. It was fun. They had us moving around in little "break out" groups to listen to some crew captains talk about fund raising, safety, tents, hydration. There was a raffle. I didn't win. There were prizes given out for correct quiz answers. I didn't win. I did score a tent mate though! This is the name tag I wore. I'm showing you this because of the stickers. The blue sticker was for a personality quiz.

Thank you everyone for our support! Thursday, May 31, 2007. The 3 Day website allows you to contact other people in your area who are looking for people to walk with. I was given a list of 4 women in my area and e-mailed them. What I want to do is set up a regular night for us to walk. It works really well for our family for me to go out after dinner. 7:30 ish. Alex is in bed by 8 and I can get a walk in before it gets dark. Oh and while we were walking we saw a beautiful deer! Thank you all sooo much!

Thank you everyone for our support! Wednesday, July 23, 2008. My medical form is all cleared for the 3 Day. That was Phase I of check in. Now I need to complete Phase II. Phase II is where I pay for my towel service and pick my tent mate. This is where the problem lies. Last year I was able to tent alone and I wanna do that again. I was really hoping to ask Mary if she would be my tent mate because she is staying at home every night of the 3 Day and I would then have the tent to myself. And my friend Lisa.

People leave them little trinkets and put little notes filled with wishes and dreams inside. When we were walking on Saturday I stopped to put one of the pink ribbons from my waist pack on the door of their house. Maybe they can help? Sunday, July 29, 2007.
