Beck: The hunger that never goes away...
http://beckgaymormon.blogspot.com/2011/05/hunger-that-never-goes-away.html
The journey of a married Mormon man who is attracted to other men. Thursday, May 19, 2011. The hunger that never goes away. Reading Invictus' last post really got to me. The idea of being hungry, of the desire and longing that doesn't goes away. Sure, that's part of the human experience and it's just part of life. As much as I do all of the above (and as much as my wife hopes and wishes and prays for it to diminish). I just wanted to testify once and for all of one truth. Not until you get some. People m...

Beck: May 2012
http://beckgaymormon.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
The journey of a married Mormon man who is attracted to other men. Saturday, May 26, 2012. If a film can bring one to laugh and cry and truly fill the spans of emotion, and develop the opportunity for a thought-provoking discussion about the saga and reality of a mixed-oriented marriage, then it must be a worthwhile piece of cinema. Such was our experience in seeing with my wife "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel". At the risk of spoiling the film for others (SPOILER ALERT! Monday, May 21, 2012. Tapping int...

Beck: Saturday viewing...
http://beckgaymormon.blogspot.com/2013/09/saturday-viewing.html
The journey of a married Mormon man who is attracted to other men. Saturday, September 28, 2013. Not a lot to say. Life goes on and like you, I seek to find a path to be the best I can be. I hope someday to be in a situation where I can come to terms with my self-hatred enough to able to attend in the flesh. The self-hatred didnt happen overnight. The self-healing doesnt happen overnight either. The first group taught me it was possible for a gay person like me to love myself just as I am. Coming out eno...

Beck: February 2015
http://beckgaymormon.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
The journey of a married Mormon man who is attracted to other men. Tuesday, February 17, 2015. In my correspondence, I was asked:. You mention that when you just leave it alone, "the gay" seems to leave you alone right now. I wonder if you could reflect on your current reality as it relates to the following quote that I included in a recent post that you wrote:. Am I regretting my choice? Do I miss the bromance encounters? You bet I do! And He loves you and wants only the best for you! MNJ - lido deck.

Beck: A simple moment...
http://beckgaymormon.blogspot.com/2012/12/a-simple-moment.html
The journey of a married Mormon man who is attracted to other men. Monday, December 24, 2012. It's been a couple of months now. feeling consumed with a sense of hopelessness with my "situation" and the loneliness, anxiety, frustration, anger and emptiness that follows - a punishing private pity party for sure! I've been an inmature boob. Please listen: You're okay! I love you completely as you are! There is always hope! I am truly blessed! I have been given much! I am surrounded with love! I am amazed at...

Serendipity: His Story
http://serendipitystr8wife.blogspot.com/p/scotts-story.html
Written by Scott, January 2011. This understanding led to an adolescence filled with mental gymnastics and selective blindness- after all, gay people were bad, and I knew that I wasn’t a bad person, so I couldn’t be gay. Any evidence to the contrary had to have another explanation. Eventually (after five months of dating) I even decided that I was ready to kiss her. And so it was that less than three months after I returned from my mission I married Sarah, my high school sweetheart. My experience in self...

Serendipity: Gay marriage in Utah?
http://serendipitystr8wife.blogspot.com/2013/12/gay-marriage-in-utah.html
Thursday, December 26, 2013. Gay marriage in Utah? Twas the day after my gay friends began to legally marry. At first I only saw the decision from the judge on Facebook. I didn't understand that there were actually people getting married, and more lining up to get married, in case it would all be shut down within hours or days. There is no way this is actually happening unless hell has frozen over." And maybe it had- the weather had been really cold. The stars are brightly shining,. Fall on your knees!

Serendipity: Recent Hype over Mixed Orientation Marriage
http://serendipitystr8wife.blogspot.com/2012/06/recent-hype-over-mixed-orientation.html
Friday, June 15, 2012. Recent Hype over Mixed Orientation Marriage. It all seemed to start with the cover and associated article of the May/June 2012 issue of LDS Living. Which is published by LDS church owned Deseret Book. The cover photo is a happy close-up shot of gay LDS author of In Quiet Desperation. And Voices of Hope. Ty Mansfield along with his wife Danielle and their young son. A large title adorns the page: "Our Story: Living with Same-Sex Attraction.". Not funny and not a healthy marriage!

Serendipity: March 2014
http://serendipitystr8wife.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 21, 2014. I spent a few months really enjoying my regular church attendance, but for the last few weeks, I've been struggling to attend for various reasons. In fact, certain things (which I don't feel like I should share specifically) have made me nearly certain that my path should probably be heading out of the church again. That is until a blog post. I did briefly refer to my experience in my post about wearing pants to church. Just a couple of months ago. And then the church sent a letter.
