Scottow Moor Solar Farm. RAF Coltishall is a former RAF airbase which closed in 2006. It was acquired by Norfolk County Council in 2013. In 2009, HMP Bure was constructed on part of the site whilst the former residential accommodation of the RAF airbase is now the village of Badersfield. Since Norfolk County Council acquired RAF Coltishall they have been seeking to realise their vision for the site, which includes income generation, job creation and the protection of the site’s heritage assets.
