Mr Scott's Art Class. Monday, August 31, 2015. 8220;Every child is born an Artist. The problem is how to remain one once one grows up” –Picasso. In this course we will continue to explore techniques related to 2D art. We will combine drawing and painting with other creative practices to make art with meaning. 1000 art fee (per semester) ($20 for the year). Keep the classroom clean. Respect each other, the teacher, and all artwork in the classroom. Never say “I can’t”. I know we will have a great year.

Mr Scott's Art Class. Monday, October 12, 2015. The students will create flowers using oil pastels and the the style of artist Georgia O'keeffe. 1 Outline the flower using the color you will use to color (no pencil). 2 Use multiple color to fill in each petal to create a transition between each color. 3 Lightly blend each color to smooth the transition between each color. 4 Touch up all blank spaces by layering the oil pastel on top of the original colors. 25%- Use of multiple colors.

To be successful in this course you must be able to think critically, and solve artist and structural problems in art. 1000 art fee (per semester) ($20 for the year). Keep the classroom clean.

Mr Scott's Art Class. Tuesday, September 15, 2015. The students will study the art of story telling and use pictures along with words to create a story that has an exposition, climax and resolution, using pencil and sharpie. 1 Students will first design a main character. 2 Students will then sketch out the plan for their story. 3 Students will then turn sketches into full pages in pencil. 4 Students will use sharpies to refine pages and fill in details. 25%- Story has exposition, climax, and ending.
